Unity XR settings are set to Single Pass stereo rendering mode. I have "Shared Depth Buffer" enabled. Color space is Linear. Has anyone testing this with Oculus Rift found a way to remove the split reflection images? And is it still possible to keep some transparency to the water? Thanks in advance for any help on this. Edit: The screen shot is just the left eye view. So you actually end up in VR with 4 overlapping reflections on the water.

It seems showing off custom features makes the videos mostly pointless for evaluating out of the box graphics potential, and therefore misleading. So my question: Are we going to get a demo of what is capable using just in built features?

This would really help most users actually gauge the feature-set, rather than having to guess what is capable with and without your "spotlight" team.

In the future, could we move to a method of working where we demo unity features using just in built features instead of custom ones that might not ever go into the engine? TLDR: it is frustrating having to read your developers twitter accounts to determine that a massive graphical feature you have shown in your main tech demo video, is not even an official feature.

LWRP Boat Racing Demo from GDC

This Unity project has been created to aid the testing and development of Universal RP. The project is a small vertical slice of a boat racing game, complete with race-able boats and island environment.

Feel free to post any issues, but know this is a 'as is' repo, it's meant more for discovery of how some of the Universal RP features work and a learning resource for some tricks. Demo Footage.

Upon loading the project will display a small welcome screen with some buttons to load starting scenes. One thing to make sure you do before building is make sure to build the addressable assets, this can be done via the addressables window, for more information please checkout the addressables package documentation. Once the addressable assets are built you can continue to build a player as usual. One thing to mention is not all controls and platforms have been tested, especially for the menu work.

I try to play with the WaterCaustics shadergraph to tame or disable the effect. My boat is often covered with caustics even if not submerged.
